The President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, convened an exceptional meeting with the director and staff of the Technical Research Center, with the aim of providing direct oversight of the strategic plans designed to enhance operations and elevate research performance within the center.

During the meeting, the University President reviewed the developmental pathways adopted by the university in the field of scientific research, emphasizing that the Technical Research Center represents a key pillar in supporting applied scientific projects with societal impact. Her Excellency called for fostering a spirit of teamwork, accelerating progress, and strengthening innovation in the implementation of research programs.

Her Excellency also listened to a detailed briefing from the center’s director regarding current plans, ongoing research programs, and the challenges that require institutional support to facilitate work and improve research outputs. She instructed that plans be updated periodically, that clear performance indicators be established, and that avenues of cooperation with scientific and research institutions—both locally and internationally—be expanded.
