The President of Northern Technical University held an extraordinary meeting with the director and staff of the Science and Technology Parks Department.

Professor Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, conducted the meeting as part of her commitment to monitor field performance and enhance the role of technology parks in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship within the university.

During the meeting, they discussed the current status of the department, the challenges it faces, mechanisms for developing technological projects, and reviewed future plans aimed at activating partnerships with governmental institutions and the private sector, contributing to linking the university’s outputs with the labor market and fostering an innovative environment for students.

The President emphasized the vital role of the technology parks department in nurturing entrepreneurial ideas and turning them into productive projects, stressing the need to double efforts and work as a unified team to achieve the university’s strategic goals.

At the conclusion of the meeting, she directed that all obstacles hindering the department’s work be removed and that creative and innovative students and staff be supported, further strengthening Northern Technical University’s position as a leading institution in technical and applied education.
