The University President conducts a field visit to the Research Center at the Kirkuk campus .

The President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, conducted a field visit today to the Research Center at the Kirkuk campus to review ongoing operations, scientific activities, and research projects, and to assess the essential needs that support the development of the research environment and enhance its outputs.

During the visit, she held an exceptional meeting with the center’s staff, during which she discussed current work plans, mechanisms for supporting research projects, and the challenges faced by researchers. She emphasized that the University places great importance on research centers as fundamental pillars in serving the community and advancing academic development.

Prof. Dr. Al-Attar also directed the need to improve the work environment, update laboratories, and encourage researchers to produce applied research with tangible impact, stressing adherence to scientific standards and quality across all departments of the center.

At the conclusion of the visit, she expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the center’s staff and reaffirmed the University Presidency’s continued support for all initiatives that strengthen the center’s role in realizing the University’s vision of knowledge innovation in service of society.
