The Northern Technical University is organizing a course entitled Laboratory Safety.

The President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Vice President, Professor Dr. Omar Rafe’ Mahmoud Al-Omar, the Safety, Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Division established a course entitled “Laboratory Safety.”

This course was organized through a long-standing collaboration between the Continuing Education Department, the Technical Research Center, the Media and Government Communication Department, and the Civil Defense Division. It targeted postgraduate students in the university’s various departments in Nineveh Governorate, and their support for the diverse and experienced workforce.

This course will be held from January 11th to 15th, 2026, in the Technical Research Center’s hall, followed by a series of awareness and scientific lectures aimed at providing a safe and sustainable work environment for research.
