The University organizes a scientific workshop entitled: “French Language: Promising Academic and Professional Prospects.”

Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Francophone Corner Unit of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at the University Presidency organized a scientific workshop entitled:
“French Language: Promising Academic and Professional Prospects,” in cooperation with the Polytechnic College/Mosul – Department of Environmental and Water Resources Engineering Technologies, and in coordination with the French Cultural Institute in Mosul.

Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan, Director of the French Cultural Institute, delivered a comprehensive interactive lecture in which he addressed the importance of learning the French language and ways to develop language skills. He also introduced the DELF exams and the scholarships offered by France, in addition to the courses provided by the Institute for students wishing to improve their proficiency.

He further answered students’ questions and discussed with them the prospects of utilizing the French language in both academic and professional pathways.

This workshop comes the cultural and scientific activities organized to celebrate the International Day of La Francophonie.
