The University Opens New Avenues of Academic Cooperation with the American University

The university opens up avenues for academic cooperation with the American University.

Northern Technical University has opened new avenues for academic, scientific, and training cooperation with the American University in Baghdad.

In alignment with Northern Technical University’s goals and strategic vision to position itself as a leading platform for strengthening partnerships with local and international universities and various sectors, the first coordination meeting was held between Northern Technical University—presided over by the respected University President, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar—and representatives of the American University.

During the meeting, future plans were discussed to enhance relations between the two universities in leading scientific research, joint research projects, supporting learning outcomes, and skills development. This includes organizing training programs to enhance capabilities, build competencies, and develop training plans aligned with labor market needs through shared local and international expertise.

The representative of the American University, during the virtual meeting, praised the university’s remarkable growth under its creative and dedicated leadership, highlighting its distinguished efficiency and considering it a model to be followed among Iraqi academic institutions.

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their desire for joint cooperation that would enhance the standing of both universities regionally and globally.
