The university launches a program to prepare certified trainers in soft skills development.

The university launches a program for the preparation of certified trainers in developing soft skills under the patronage of Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the university launched the program on Sunday, December 21, titled “Preparation of Certified Trainers in Developing Soft Skills,” aimed at faculty members, teachers, trainers, and professionals in academic fields.

This program is organized as part of Northern Technical University’s commitment to enhancing academic and professional capacities and improving the efficiency of educational staff, keeping pace with institutional development demands, and building modern academic skills based on interaction, leadership, and effective communication.

The opening session comrised official speeches that emphasized the importance of regional and international academic partnerships in supporting professional development programs, followed by a keynote lecture presented by Taqi bin Abdul-Ridha Al-Abdawani, the CEO of the International Institute for Training and Institutional Development. He addressed the practical and strategic aspects of developing soft skills in the academic environment and their role in enhancing institutional and educational performance.

Additionally, Professor Ali bin Hamad Al-Badi, the Dean of Gulf College in Muscat, Oman, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of this program in preparing certified trainers equipped with modern tools that align with international standards in education and training.

In this context, the Omani delegation conveyed the greetings of Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation in Oman, to the participants, wishing them maximum benefit from the training program.

The program is being implemented within a comprehensive training schedule that combines interactive lectures and practical applications, enhancing the participants’ capabilities and enabling them to transfer the acquired experiences to their educational institutions, supporting the journey of sustainable academic development.
