Under the guidance and patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Medical Institute / Kirkuk, the University organized its first Job Fair at the institute, in a step aimed at enhancing employment opportunities for graduates and strengthening their connection with the labor market.
The fair was inaugurated on behalf of the University President by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmood. The event witnessed the participation of a number of institutions and companies, reflecting the University’s commitment to opening direct channels between graduates and potential employers.
The exhibition attracted a wide attendance of students and graduates, who were given the opportunity to explore labor market requirements and apply directly for available job opportunities. The event also enabled participants to gain insights into the essential skills required in today’s evolving work environment.
Additionally, the fair featured dedicated booths for participating companies, where representatives provided overviews of their fields of work and available vacancies. Direct engagement sessions were also held, allowing students to exchange experiences and have their inquiries addressed.
This initiative comes as part of Northern Technical University’s ongoing efforts to support its students and graduates and empower them professionally, thereby reinforcing its role in serving the community and meeting labor market demands.
