Northern Technical University organized an awareness session for female students residing in the university dormitories highlighting fasting benefits and the principles of Islamic jurisprudence.

Held under the patronage and guidance of the University President, Professor Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar. the session was organized by Department of Media and Government Communication in cooperation with the Higher Committee for Qur’anic Activities, in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, as it addressed multiple themes focusing on the spiritual, health, and social dimensions of fasting, in addition to highlighting key jurisprudential rulings related to this sacred obligation. The initiative aimed to enhance religious and cultural awareness among students and to reinforce noble Islamic values.

Participants emphasized the importance of making the most of the blessed month by fostering solidarity, compassion, and ethical conduct within the university campus. The seminar also commended the University administration for its continued support of awareness initiatives that contribute to building a well-rounded academic personality grounded in both knowledge and moral integrity.

This event forms part of a broader series of Ramadan activities organized by the University Presidency in support of the educational mission and in promotion of students’ cultural and religious identity.
