Northern Technical University organized a grand carnival to celebrate the graduation of its students, the largest among Iraqi universities, at the university’s stadium in Salahaddin.

This festive event marked a significant accomplishment, celebrating the graduation of 10,450 students for the academic year 2024–2025. It showcased the university’s academic and educational efforts across its various departments, reflecting its progress in education and technical training. The carnival witnessed broad attendance from university leaders, teaching staff, and the families of graduates, alongside a variety of activities that reflected the spirit of joy and achievement.

The festivities began with the lighting of the ceremonial flame, followed by the citation of verses from the Holy Quran, the national anthem, the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha, and the university anthem. This was followed by a speech from the President of Northern Technical University, representing His Excellency Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, along with a speech from the graduating students. The event also included a cultural performance by an international folkloric arts troupe and a flag-handling ceremony. The program concluded with the honoring of the top-performing students at the university.

The carnival activities concluded with commemorative photo sessions, capturing these historic moments in the university’s journey and the achievements of its graduates, amid an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.
