The Northern Technical University extends bridges of cooperation with the University of Al-Kut through the signing of cooperation agreements with a number of its colleges.

Within the framework of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities, the Northern Technical University signed joint cooperation agreements with the University of Al-Kut, covering several of its colleges. The agreements were concluded between the Technical Engineering College, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the College of Engineering at the University of Al-Kut, as well as the College of Engineering and the Technical Engineering College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence / Mosul, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Ibrahim Dalal Bashi. The agreements aim to support the advancement of higher education and the exchange of scientific and research expertise.

These agreements seek to develop academic programs, enhance cooperation in scientific research, and promote the exchange of faculty members and students, in addition to organizing joint scientific activities, thereby contributing to raising the scientific and technical standards of both parties.

Both sides affirmed that this step is in line with the orientations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward expanding scientific partnerships among universities, in a manner that serves students and academic institutions and enhances the quality of higher education outcomes in Iraq.
