The University Concludes the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Qualifiers Championship.

Northern Technical University concluded the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Qualifiers Championship, attended by the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Sliwa, with broad participation from qualified university teams representing various Iraqi universities.

The championship witnessed a distinguished competitive atmosphere that reflected high sportsmanship and an advanced technical level among the participating teams. The matches were marked by outstanding performances and a high level of organization, contributing to the success of this university sporting event.

During the closing ceremony, the University President emphasized the importance of supporting university sports activities as a fundamental pillar in building students’ character and reinforcing the values of cooperation, discipline, and teamwork. She praised the efforts of the organizing and refereeing committees, as well as the constructive cooperation among the participating universities.

At the conclusion of the championship, the winning teams and the organizing committees were honored. On this occasion, the University President also honored Brigadier Hikmat Al-Jawari, Director of the Nationality, Passports, and Residency Directorate – Nineveh Branch. Attendees commended the excellent organization and the success of Northern Technical University in hosting and managing this important sporting event.
