On Thursday, January 23, 2025, under the esteemed patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Director of the Technical Research Center, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul-Barr Ahmed Nouri, the Technical Research Center organized a specialized scientific symposium titled “Comparison Between Metal and Composite Fillings”, presented by Dr. Nidal Ali Ismail, a dentist specialized in dental treatment and design.

The symposium addressed a significant topic in dentistry, where Dr. Nidal provided a detailed presentation on the technical and practical differences between metal and composite fillings. She highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of each type in terms of durability, lifespan, and their effects on dental health and aesthetics. The discussion also included the latest innovations and techniques used in the treatment and design of fillings, with an explanation of the criteria influencing the selection of the appropriate type for each medical case.
