The Department of Information and Library Technologies held a scientific event entitled “ISO 21001 Specification for Educational Organizations and Institutions” with a presentation by Assistant Professor Ahmed Khuzaiel Salem. The objective of the event was to introduce the ISO 21001 specification for educational organizations and institutions, also known as EOMS ISO 21001, which is an international standard for the management system of educational institutions. It focuses on the interaction between educational institutions, teachers, students, and all aspects of the educational process, as well as other interested parties. Additionally, the event aimed to familiarize attendees with the important clauses of the specification and the conditions for obtaining the related certificate.

The event covered the following topics:

Adopting the best international educational practices, including the ISO 21001 specification.
Understanding the specific clauses of the ISO 21001 specification.
The necessity of working to increase the quality of education and the educational process through continuous monitoring of educational processes.
Working to increase student and customer satisfaction by promoting transparency in educational service provision.
