The Technical Institute of Kirkuk organized a psychological scientific workshop entitled “Behavioral Addiction and Its Impact on Our Daily Lives,” under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ashiti Mahdi Aref (Dean of the Institute).

The Media and Government Communication Department at the Technical Institute of Kirkuk organized a psychological scientific workshop entitled “Behavioral Addiction and Its Impact on Our Daily Lives.” The workshop was attended by Mr. Anas Fuad Abdul Aziz (certified educational counselor in the Ministry of Education).

The workshop revealed that there are 28 million Iraqis using social media platforms today, which have taken away real communication and made us live in virtual communication. Each person in life becomes addicted to something, and sometimes this addiction deprives people of many successes. This addiction arises through repetition.

The workshop was divided into several important axes, including:
