The Technical Health and Medical College of Kirkuk held a workshop entitled “Methods of Eradicating Poverty”…

under the patronage of Dr. Aliaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Yawuz Nuraldeen, Dean of the Technical Health and Medical College of Kirkuk. This workshop was organized as part of the Sustainable Development Program activities for the current academic year 2023/2022, in collaboration between the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the Northern Technical University and the Industrial College Technologies Department.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Wafaa Mahmoud Jassim, Head of the Industrial College Technologies Department, along with a number of faculty and staff members from the college.

The workshop discussed the types of poverty and its causes, and emphasized the importance of addressing this issue in society. The workshop also highlighted the impact of poverty on both individuals and society, and identified the reasons for poverty in the community.

The main objective of the workshop was to raise awareness among participants about the importance of helping others in combating poverty, and to promote cooperation and love among members of the same community. The workshop concluded with the following recommendations: increasing charitable donations and aid to combat poverty, establishing a social solidarity fund to provide the best means of assistance to those in need, and creating charitable groups to monitor and support impoverished families.
