Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Reda Aslan, Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Kirkuk, the college holds a trial exam for the IELTS test in the presence of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Kirkuk, Assistant Professor, Dr. Sami Reda Aslan, the Director of Continuing Education at the University Presidency, Professor Assistant Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet, and Assistant Professor Dr. Muntadir Eidi Sharif, Chairman of the committee supervising the test, which is considered one of the requirements for applying for postgraduate studies inside Iraq, as approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Dr. Montaser Eidi Sharif, the supervisor of the English Language Center at the college, explained that the total number of applicants for the exam reached 224 applicants who took the paper-based trial exam.
It is worth noting that the courses will be launched at the Language Center in Kirkuk during the next two weeks as an initiative launched by the university for university students who are about to apply for postgraduate studies inside Iraq.
