Under the direct guidance and supervision of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College – Mosul, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the college actively participated in the major volunteer campaign launched by the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, on the occasion of Volunteer Work Day. The campaign began early in the morning with wide participation from the college’s staff and students, and was organized by the Volunteer Works Unit in cooperation with the Media and Government Communications Division.

The Technical Agricultural College recorded a remarkable presence in this initiative, as its staff and students—under the leadership of the Dean—demonstrated a strong spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and responsibility, reflecting the university’s mission in serving the community and promoting purposeful volunteer efforts.

The volunteer activities carried out by the college within the campaign included:

• Releasing fingerling fish into the Tigris River to support fish resources and preserve biodiversity.

• Conducting blood tests for livestock and providing health guidance to breeders to enhance animal health and safety.

• Organizing a tree-planting campaign to increase green spaces and improve the surrounding environment.

• Testing well water in the villages of Al-Qubba and Sharikhan, and providing residents with recommendations to ensure water safety and suitability for use.
