The President of Northern Technical University, along with the Governor of Nineveh, held an expanded meeting to discuss launching several projects at newly established universities and addressing the technical, financial, and legal challenges facing their implementation.

The President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the Governor of Nineveh, legal expert Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, chaired an expanded meeting, attended by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Thanoon Younis Thanoon, and representatives of several newly established universities. During the meeting, the Governor of Nineveh confirmed the launch of several projects at the newly established universities. The meeting aimed to address the technical, financial and legal issues facing the implementation of these projects. He added that the necessary measures will be taken and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministries of Planning, Education and Finance will be contacted to obtain the necessary allocations and funding to continue the projects launched previously. He pointed out that the newly established universities are important educational institutions, and we pay great attention to them, with the support of the Prime Minister , and the Ministers of Higher Education, Planning and Finance. He concluded by saying that there is an agreement signed between Nineveh Governorate Council and Northern Technical University to work as a team in various fields and advance the education sector at all levels. The University President expressed her readiness to provide support for these initiatives and contribute to resolving the obstacles facing these projects, feeling thankful to the great role of Nineveh Governorate Council in serving all universities in general and Northern Technical University in particular.
