As part of the Northern Technical University’s strategy to strengthen academic partnerships and expand scientific cooperation with Iraqi universities, the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement with Al-Hikma Private University.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of several assistant professors and deans, as well as representatives from Al-Hikma Private University. During her address, the President emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific and research ties between the two institutions, which will contribute to supporting academic programs, exchanging expertise, and enhancing joint capabilities to serve students and the community.

The agreement aims to foster cooperation in scientific research, curriculum development, training, and the organization of joint workshops and seminars. It also aims to facilitate the exchange of faculty and students and pursue innovative projects that contribute to sustainable development.

For their part, the delegation from Al-Hikma Private University expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and their eagerness to implement the agreement’s provisions in a way that achieves the desired goals and enhances the academic standing of both universities. This step comes as a continuation of the Northern Technical University’s approach to building a broad cooperation network with national higher education institutions, confirming its leading role in supporting the educational and research process in Iraq.
