The President of the Northern Technical University Participates in the Meeting of the National Permanent Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance.

The President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, participated in the meeting of the National Permanent Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance. The meeting was attended by presidents of public universities, representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Ministries of Higher Education, Justice, Youth and Sports, Labor and Social Affairs, as well as representatives from the Popular Mobilization Authority and religious endowments.

The meeting included discussions on plans and programs aimed at enhancing community security, strengthening national unity, and combating foreign phenomena affecting Iraqi society. It also focused on leveraging the expertise of academic and research institutions and coordinating with relevant entities to support state efforts in achieving social stability.

The meeting concluded with several recommendations, including:
– Developing curricula to reinforce national identity.
– Monitoring social media platforms that promote sectarian and extremist ideologies.
– Continuing to hold seminars and conferences aimed at combating extremist thought.
– Organizing exchange visits between university students to foster cultural understanding among provinces.
