The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, received in her office in Kirkuk, the Head of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Representative Arshad Rashad Al-Salihi.

In the beginning, the President of the University welcomed this auspicious visit, in which His Excellency the Deputy renewed his support for our Northern Technical University, represented by its President, out of a sense of pride for the developments that the University has witnessed at all levels, urban and scientific, and in record time. Issues related to the scientific career at the university, the creation of scientific staff in various disciplines, and the importance of proceeding with the creation of new scientific departments within the university’s faculties in different specializations.

The Chairman of the Committee, Representative Arshad Al-Salihi, affirmed that he will do everything in his power to support the Northern Technical University and work to overcome the challenges it faces within the available possibilities, and continue working to overcome obstacles to the opening of a new technical university project in Kirkuk governorate, in line with the strategic objectives of the scientific orientation of Iraqi universities and colleges.
