The President of the Northern Technical University Honors a Creative Student from the Gifted School.

Under the patronage and care of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the university honored the creative student Abdullah Muhammad Sabah, a fifth-grade student at the Gifted School in Nineveh. The honor was in recognition of his great achievement in representing Iraq in the final stage of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2025), which saw the participation of 111 countries and more than 700 students from around the world.
This achievement comes after Abdullah successfully passed a series of challenging international tests and qualified as part of the Iraqi team of five outstanding students.
The President of the University emphasized that this honor represents a message of pride in the role of gifted students who contribute to raising Iraq’s name in international forums. She noted that the Northern Technical University will continue to support and assist creative scientific talents and competencies.
