Northern Technical University Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar attended the Meeting of the Technical Education Authority In the presence of the presidents of technical universities to discuss a number of administrative and financial issues, as this meeting is the last for the Technical Education Authority, The Technical Education Council was established as a replacement for the Technical Education Authority.
The council is headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Presidents of the four technical universities, as well as the President of the Technological University and a number of general directors of the Ministry of Higher Education are the members. This Council will be advisory as well as the formulation of policies on technical education and the organization of relations with international organizations
