The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, opened the Programmable Digital Controllers (PLC) laboratory in the Department of Electronics and Control Engineering at the College of Engineering Technology, Kirkuk. The opening was followed by an overview presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Montaser Aidi Sharef, Head of the Department of Electronics and Control Engineering, about the usefulness of this laboratory in the labor market. And the extent to which the labor market in the field of control specializes in benefiting from these devices, as modern laboratories and factories are almost devoid of these devices to control and automate their operations.
It is worth noting that these systems were designed and manufactured by the staff of the Electronics and Control Department and will be implemented effectively in the current year 2023-2024 to provide the labor market with the experiences and skills that the graduates of this department lacked and to be a qualitative leap that will advance the students.
