The President of Northern Technical University invites university students to apply for the third edition of the “Higher Education Reading Award.”

Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Office of the Chancellor, the third edition of the Higher Education Reading Award was launched, with the aim of promoting a culture of reading and knowledge among Iraqi university students. On this occasion, the President of Northern Technical University, Prof.Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, invites university students to apply for this award, which will broaden students’ horizons.
🔹 Categories eligible for the competition:
1. Undergraduate students (bachelor’s) enrolled at Iraqi public and private universities.
2. Graduate students continuing their studies for the 2024-2025 academic year.
🔹 Timings:
Registration: From August 10, 2025, to August 18, 2025.
🔸Exam: Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM (electronically).
🔸Awards Ceremony: Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Al-Hakim Hall, University of Baghdad.
🔹 Valuable cash prizes for the winners:
* First place: 10,000,000 Iraqi dinars.
* Second place: 8,000,000 Iraqi dinars.
* Third place: 5,500,000 Iraqi dinars.
From fourth to twentieth place: 4,500,000 Iraqi dinars for each winner.
