Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar inaugurated a group of scientific laboratories and modern classrooms in the Department of Environmental and Pollution Technologies at the Technical College of Engineering in Kirkuk with the aim of enhancing the educational structure and providing an advanced educational environment for students.
During the opening, the President of the University made an inspection tour of the new laboratories that have been equipped with the latest devices and technologies to support research and studies in the fields of environment and pollution.
In a meeting with the students of the department, the President of the University listened to their opinions and needs, stressing the university’s keenness to meet their academic and research requirements. She also stressed the importance of the role of the Department of Environmental and Pollution Technologies in preparing qualified personnel who contribute to addressing environmental issues and challenges related to pollution.
Dr. Al-Attar expressed her pride of this progress, noting that these projects come in the context of enhancing technical education and linking academic programs to the needs of society and the labor market.
