The President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, received Mr. Hakam Daham Haboo Al-Jawari, the Director of the Civil Status, Passports, and Residency Department. During the meeting, they discussed the mechanism for mutual cooperation regarding the facilitation of procedures for issuing the unified national card for university students, starting from next Sunday, September 28, 2025.

The university president emphasized her commitment to providing all necessary facilitation to ensure the swift processing of student transactions and to reduce administrative bureaucracy, noting that this cooperation represents an important step in serving the student community and alleviating their burdens.

For his part, the Director of the Civil Status, Passports, and Residency Department praised the university’s significant role in adopting initiatives that benefit its students and staff, affirming the department’s readiness to provide full support for the success of this vital project.
