The President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, participated in the celebration organized by the Ministry of Planning on Wednesday, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the International Day of Education for the year 2025, under the slogan (Education is the key to building human capital).
The deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Researh Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, indicated that the Ministry has achieved progress in various aspects of higher education, which required special attention to enhance the quality of institutional and programmatic performance to reach the internationalization of higher education, and to establish partnerships and exchange experiences between local educational sectors and the global academic community. He added: The Ministry has worked to enhance the capacity of universities by improving the educational atmosphere and providing services, as the role of educational institutions represents a basic developmental pillar that is manifested in an appropriate scientific environment. The celebration was attended by advisors, deputies of ministries, heads of bodies and agencies, general managers, university presidents and professors, deans of colleges, representatives of ministries and entities not affiliated with a ministry, representatives of UNESCO and a number of international agencies and organizations operating in Iraq, civil society organizations and relevant parties.
