Within the framework of the policy of openness and academic cooperation pursued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and to enhance the position of the Northern Technical University in international scientific forums, and under the guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and on her behalf, the Dean of the College of Agricultural Technology, Professor Dr. Shahab Ahmed Al-Bajari, and his accompanying delegation, paid an official visit to Ardakan University in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He was received by the President of Ardakan University, Professor Dr. Ahmad Fattahi Ardakan, and an official meeting was held during which prospects for scientific and academic cooperation were discussed, particularly in the fields of agricultural technology and livestock development, as these are vital pillars of mutual interest to both institutions.
The discussions included the possibility of implementing joint research projects in the fields of sustainable agriculture, water resource management, and the development of animal and poultry production technologies, in addition to exploring the possibility of exchanging expertise and training between professors, researchers, and students.
The visiting delegation also conducted a field tour of Ardakan University facilities, including colleges, research laboratories, agricultural fields, and animal production units, where they were briefed on practical experiences that could form the basis for fruitful scientific cooperation between the two parties.
At the conclusion of the visit, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities, which will contribute to strengthening sound scientific research and developing academic capabilities, serving the scientific progress of both countries.
The two sides emphasized that this visit will be the first step towards long-term strategic cooperation in the fields of agriculture and research, consolidating the position of the Northern Technical University as a partner. Active in the international academic arena.
