The Northern Technical University organizes the second axis of the central conference to activate the academic role in achieving national unity and combating extremist ideology at Nineveh universities.

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of the university’s two assistants for academic and administrative affairs, the university organized the second axis of the central conference to activate the academic role in achieving national unity and combating extremist ideology at Nineveh’s universities. The conference was attended by the presidents of Nineveh universities, stakeholders, deans of the university’s colleges and institutes, and heads of academic departments. The event began with the playing of the Iraqi national anthem, followed by a recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of our righteous martyrs. This was followed by the playing of the university anthem. Scientific sessions were then presented by:
– Dr. Zakaria Nour El-Din, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
– Dr. Anmar Burhan Mohammed, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department
– Dr. Nawar Abdul Ghani, Head of the Cybersecurity Department
– and a number of scientific activities. The conference concluded with honoring the conference guests and the working committees.
