The Northern Technical University Organizes a Grand Carnival to Celebrate the Glorious Victory Day …

Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Media and Government Communication Department at the university headquarters organized a grand carnival to mark the occasion of the Glorious Victory Day .
The carnival began with the raising of the Iraqi flag in the university’s sky, followed by the playing of the Iraqi national anthem. This was succeeded by a speech delivered by the President of the University, in which she said:
*“On this cherished national occasion, Victory Day, I am honored to address you today with words imbued with pride in the history of our great homeland. A history written by its heroic sons with their blood and sacrifices, creating a glory that will forever remain in the memory of generations.
Victory Day is not merely a commemoration; it is an inspiring milestone that reminds us of the importance of determination, hard work, and unity to achieve our goals. This day taught us that the strength of will can overcome challenges and that our homeland deserves every effort we can make for its progress and prosperity.
Dear colleagues and students, on this glorious occasion, I remind you of the importance of your role in carrying the banner of advancement and construction. Knowledge and education are the most powerful weapons that enable us to face challenges and build a bright future. As citizens of this nation, we have a responsibility to safeguard its achievements and contribute to its path toward progress.
Today, our university is part of this great national project. It is a beacon of knowledge and innovation, playing a crucial role in preparing future leaders who will carry the responsibility of continuing to build the nation. I urge you all to dedicate yourselves to your work and studies and to always be exemplary in diligence and creativity.
At this moment, we pay tribute to our heroes who inscribed victory with their pure blood and to everyone who worked sincerely and faithfully for the elevation of this nation. We also pray to God to protect our beloved country and grant us all success in serving it with everything we have.
May you and our nation always thrive in security and prosperity.”*
Following the speech, a patriotic poem celebrating the love for Iraq was recited, followed by a series of national songs performed by student Abdulrahman Al-Mashhadani.
