The Northern Technical University organized a scientific seminar titled “Population Census and Its Importance in Serving the Community.”

Under the patronage of Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Atar, the university president, and supervised by Dr. Samir Taha Yasin, Dean of the Administrative Technical College, the seminar featured speakers including:

The seminar discussed the significance of the national census for Iraq, focusing on measuring population size and distribution, studying demographic structure, assessing economic and social conditions, and providing data for governmental planning. Additionally, several Sustainable Development Goals related to population growth and improving social and economic conditions were highlighted.
