The Northern Technical University continues its scientific visits in Iran: A visit to Sharif University of Technology.

As part of its official scientific visit program to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a delegation from the Northern Technical University, headed by Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, accompanied by her delegation, visited the Sharif University of Technology in the capital city of Tehran — one of Iran’s most prestigious universities in the fields of engineering, applied sciences, and technological innovation.

The visit included a tour of the university’s Science and Technology Park and its various departments and pioneering centers, during which the delegation held a series of fruitful meetings with the university’s administration, as well as directors of research centers and technology incubators.

During these meetings, the most prominent entrepreneurial and research projects adopted by Sharif University were presented, in addition to discussions on potential areas of academic and scientific cooperation and experience exchange between the two universities in the domains of innovation and university entrepreneurship.

Professor Dr. Alia Al-Attar emphasized that this visit comes within the framework of adopting successful models in supporting university innovation and strengthening sustainable regional partnerships with reputable universities. She noted that such efforts contribute to advancing the educational and research landscape in Iraq, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s direction toward global academic openness.
