The Northern Technical University basketball team, 3×3, participates in the Iraqi Universities Basketball Championship.

Under the sponsorship of the President of the Northern Technical University, Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Thanoon Younis Thanoon, our team participated in the tournament held in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate (Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University) from March 24th to March 28th. Forty-seven government and private universities participated in the championship, which was sanctioned by the International Basketball Federation. Our university players now have names and numbers in the international federation. Congratulations to our university.
