Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, lays the foundation stone for the building of the classrooms at the Haweeja Technical Institute, with the participation of Kirkuk Provincial Council member, Engineer Raad Al-Saleh, and in the presence of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Thanoon Younis Thanoon, the Dean of the Haweeja Technical Institute, and the Dean of the Haweeja Technical College and the assistants and a number of university employees in Hawija. On this occasion and in appreciation of her efforts and effective role in serving Kirkuk Governorate in particular and Haweeja District in particular, Engineer Raad Al-Saleh presented the Loyalty Shield to Mrs. President, wishing her more success, saying: What Mrs. Al-Attar did is beyond words to describe. She is the only woman who led the university’s colleges and institutes in three governorates with distinction and creativity. In turn, the lady thanked the university president, Engineer Raad, for his unlimited support for the university.
