The Governor of Nineveh Visits Northern Technical University.

 

The President of Northern Technical University, Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, welcomed the Governor of Nineveh, legal expert Abdul Qadir Al-Dakheel, in the presence of the Director of Mosul Municipality, Abdul Sattar Al-Habu, at the university’s headquarters in Mosul. This official visit reflects the deep cooperation between the local government and educational institutions in the province.

During the meeting, ways to enhance the partnership between Northern Technical University and Nineveh Governorate were discussed, aiming to open new avenues for cooperation in education, training, and scientific research, contributing to supporting development and reconstruction efforts in the province.

The governor expressed his pride in the university’s academic standing and its role in qualifying specialized technical staff, commending the administration’s efforts to provide a suitable educational environment despite challenges. He also appreciated the achievements made in research, development, and community service.

For her part, the university president welcomed the visit, emphasizing that the university is keen to build bridges of cooperation with government institutions and actively contribute to community development projects, offering technical consultations that serve the public interest. She praised the significant efforts of the governor in supporting the university on all levels.

At the conclusion of the visit, both sides affirmed the importance of continuing communication and coordination to serve Nineveh Governorate and enhance the university’s role in supporting the province’s future plans.
