The First International Agricultural Conference IAC 2025: A Global Platform for Advancing Agricultural Innovation

The Technical Agricultural College–Mosul, in cooperation with the Northern Technical University, successfully organized the First International Agricultural Conference (IAC 2025), held on December 3–4, 2025. The conference represented a significant scientific event that brought together researchers, specialists, and academics from various local and international institutions to discuss the latest developments in agricultural sciences and sustainable food production.

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the conference aimed to strengthen the scientific research environment, promote knowledge exchange, and create constructive partnerships between universities, research centers, and the agricultural sector.

IAC 2025 included keynote lectures, scientific sessions, and poster presentations that covered diverse themes such as sustainable agriculture, environmental management, modern irrigation systems, food security, smart farming technologies, and the role of biotechnology in improving crop productivity.

Participants emphasized the importance of adopting innovative solutions to address global agricultural challenges, particularly climate change, water scarcity, and soil degradation. The conference concluded with a set of recommendations supporting scientific research, encouraging applied studies, and fostering international collaboration to enhance agricultural development.

The successful organization of IAC 2025 reflects the college’s commitment to advancing scientific excellence and contributes to its mission of supporting sustainable agricultural progress at both national and global levels.
