Mrs. President of the Northern Technical University, a member and supervisor in the discussion of the technical master’s thesis at the Northern Technical University, which discusses: – The effect of wheat straw ash as a partial substitute for cement on the performance of environmentally friendly pervious concrete.

A technical master’s thesis was researched at the Technical Engineering College/Mosul, specializing in construction materials engineering technology, entitled: –

The thesis submitted by the researcher (Omar Hazem Mohammed) examined the use of wheat straw ash as a partial substitute for cement within the components of environmentally friendly pervious concrete, where variable cases of maximum aggregate size and two cases of natural and industrial burning of straw ash were used in this study, to obtain results that contribute to enhancing sustainability and improving the environment by taking advantage of permeable concrete and this type of agricultural waste that is locally available and commercially cheap and easy to collect from the abundant waste of fields and farms without benefiting from it.
The thesis aimed to: – Study the use of wheat straw ash as a partial substitute for cement in environmentally friendly permeable concrete.

The thesis recommended: – Using wheat straw ash as a partial substitute in its natural and industrial forms for cases that do not require high resistance or heavy load. This study is considered new and unprecedented and achieves an achievement credited to the university as it is the first of its kind to integrate this type of concrete with this type of waste.
