Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the Desertification Control Technologies Department organized a tree-planting campaign in the gardens of the college.

The campaign was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Fares Al-Sawaf, Head of the Desertification Control Technologies Department, and in the presence of Assist. Lecturer Ziyad Amer Mustafa. Students of the third stage of the department participated by planting a variety of trees in different areas of the college gardens.

This campaign comes within the framework of environmental activities aimed at raising awareness of the importance of afforestation and its vital role in combating desertification, increasing green spaces, and improving the university environment. It also contributes to strengthening the spirit of volunteer work and environmental responsibility among students.
