The Council of the Technical Engineering College / Mosul held its tenth session for the 2025–2026 academic year under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and in the presence of all council members.

During the meeting, the council discussed a number of important topics, most notably the ministerial directives, the directives of the University President, and the directives of the University Council, in a manner that contributes to enhancing the academic and administrative performance of the college.

The council also hosted Dr. Ali Mahmoud Oghur, Director of the Computer Center, where matters related to the IQ Learn program were discussed. The latest updates concerning students were reviewed, migration problems were addressed, and the steps of digital transformation and mechanisms for their development were examined.

The meeting also addressed the proposal to bring forward the examination schedule, plans for postgraduate studies, and the follow-up of undergraduate and postgraduate students’ affairs. In addition, efforts to develop postgraduate students’ projects through the inclusion of multiple specializations that would strengthen the research and scientific aspects were discussed.

The council further reviewed the administrative and financial matters of the college, in addition to discussing the activities of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Division and the most significant events that contribute to supporting the scientific process.

The meeting concluded with the discussion of several other items listed on the agenda and the adoption of the appropriate recommendations regarding them in a way that serves the interests of the college and its students.
