The Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee Visits Northern Technical University.

Northern Technical University warmly welcomed the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat, during an official visit aimed at enhancing cooperation between the academic and legislative institutions and gaining insight into the university’s scientific and administrative reality.

He was received by the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, who welcomed the esteemed guest and provided a detailed explanation of the university’s development in various fields, particularly in technical and vocational education, and its role in preparing qualified personnel to serve the national labor market.

The visit included a field tour of several colleges and scientific departments, during which they observed the progress of final exams, infrastructure, scientific laboratories, and discussed the challenges facing technical education in Iraq.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee confirmed his full support for the technical university, praising the efforts of the university’s administration and staff in advancing the educational process, and emphasizing the importance of supporting this vital sector through necessary legislation and budgets.
