The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education visits the Northern Technical University.

The Northern Technical University received the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Professor Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayyat, on an official visit to the university. He was welcomed by the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar.

Professor Dr. Al-Attar accompanied the guest on a field tour that included the premises of Northern Technical Engineering College/ Mosul, where he viewed the classrooms, scientific laboratories, and infrastructure. He also listened to the students’ opinions and suggestions regarding the educational environment and their academic and service-related needs.

Professor Dr. Al-Khayyat praised the academic and technical standards achieved by the university, affirming the committee’s support for the efforts of technical educational institutions in developing curricula and improving the university learning environment in line with labor market demands.

For her part, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar expressed her gratitude for this visit, which reflects the legislative authority’s interest in advancing the higher education sector. She reaffirmed the university’s ongoing commitment to promoting academic quality and advancing the reality of technical education in Iraq.
