Northern Technical University participates in the closing ceremony of the “azdiharak” project and the meeting of the project’s Higher Steering Committee.

The Northern Technical University, represented by Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar and her accompanying delegation, participated in the closing ceremony for the completion of the “Your Prosperity” project, which was held at the Coral Palace Hotel in Baghdad on June 16, 2025. Representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office, the European Union, Cowater, and the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Education, Planning, Labor and Social Affairs, and Agriculture from the central government and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as well as the presidents of the Northern Technical University and the Middle Technical University, attended the ceremony. This was followed by the closing meeting of the project’s Higher Steering Committee. The agenda included opening remarks from representatives of the Government of the Republic of Iraq, the European Union Delegation, and Cowater International. Following these remarks, the activities completed during the “Your Prosperity” project were presented, highlighting the role of promoting entrepreneurship and developing employment skills in fostering free enterprise, reducing pressure on government work, and building a distinguished entrepreneurial community. The ceremony concluded with a video summarizing the achievements and outcomes of the training workshops conducted during the project. The Steering Committee meeting followed, with the participation of the President of the Northern Technical University and the members representing the Republic of Iraq. The European Union and the relevant state ministries.
