Tender No. (1/2025), related to the project for the construction of a (Cooling and Air Conditioning System for the Indoor Sports Hall), has been awarded under referral order No. (8692/4/2 on 2/7/2025) for the amount of (299,890,000) two hundred ninety-nine million eight hundred ninety thousand Iraqi dinars only (to the General Company for Mining Industries / Al-Ramah Factory) / Factory Manager Mr. (Haitham Nuri Ali), with a completion period of (180) calendar days starting from the date of commencement of work. Below are the results of the bidders who participated in the tender:
– Al-Aseel Company: 291,960,000
This company is not specialized in the field of cooling and central air conditioning. Clause (9) of the tender announcement (1/2025) required the bidder to have specialized experience in cooling and air conditioning, and it did not provide any similar specialized work in this field; rather, its activities pertain to construction and paving works, among others.
– Huda Al-Salam General Contracting Company: 321,163,000
This company does not have specialized experience in cooling and air conditioning. The bidder has experience in street treatment (paving works) as part of the regional development plan and maintenance of drainage networks throughout Nineveh Governorate. Notably, the bid price submitted was significantly higher than the estimated cost provided by the contracting authority.
– *Wahj Al-Fajr General Contracting Company*: 302,405,000
This company does not have specialized experience in cooling and air conditioning. The bidder’s works pertain to street treatment (paving works) and equipping and installing various guiding signs in the city of Mosul, among other activities that are outside the required specialization in cooling and air conditioning.
– *Al-Nile General Contracting Company*: 292,300,000
This company has experience in cooling and air conditioning; however, the similar work submitted was not a (Package Unit) but a (VRF) cooling system. Clause (9) of the announcement, as a governing clause, confirmed that the similar specialized work must be completed as a (Package Unit) with government or local institutions.
