The Agricultural Technical College Organizes a Seminar on Economic Sustainability: Innovation, Opportunities, and Sustainable Growth

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the college, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Department at the university presidency and within the framework of sustainable development activities, organized a seminar entitled:
“Economic Sustainability: Innovation, Opportunities, and Sustainable Growth.”

• The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Doaa Qasim Sabri.

• The seminar addressed:
Concepts of economic sustainability and its role in achieving comprehensive development through supporting innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, and enhancing green growth.

• The seminar concluded with several recommendations, including:
1️⃣ Promoting a culture of economic sustainability across various sectors.
2️⃣ Supporting innovation and green entrepreneurship.
3️⃣ Developing policies and legislation that encourage a sustainable economy.
4️⃣ Expanding partnerships between universities and the private sector.
5️⃣ Encouraging investment in modern technologies and clean energy.
6️⃣ Integrating sustainable economy concepts into educational curricula.
7️⃣ Organizing seminars and specialized training courses in the field of sustainability.
8️⃣ Conducting applied research and studies that support decision-makers.

• The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members and staff from the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul.
