The Agricultural Technical College organizes a scientific course on ‘The basics of agricultural technology in the non-agricultural system and its impact on agricultural development’

Under the patronage of the president of the northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Prof. Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the Department of plant production technologies organized a scientific course entitled: ‘fundamentals of agricultural technology in the non-farming system and its impact on agricultural development’, in the presence of the dean of the College, the assistant dean for administrative and financial affairs, a number of Teachers and faculty members.

• The course was aimed at:
Spreading awareness of the importance of the conservation agriculture system in general, and agriculture without tillage in particular, and identifying its positive implications on Environmental Conservation and achieving sustainable agricultural development, through reducing costs and achieving efficiency in the use of resources, and reducing waste in fuel, chemical fertilizers and Bush pesticides.

* The course came up with several recommendations, including:
Promote research and studies related to no-till agriculture to reach the best applied formulas with optimal yield.
Intensify the organization of workshops, seminars and training courses aimed at workers in the field of agricultural crop production, to showcase the benefits and benefits of applying this modern system.
