Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Youssef, and within the program for developing the capabilities of new recruits and developing their functional skills, the College of Agricultural Technology concluded its session entitled “The Legal Status of the University Service Employee”, which It was held in cooperation with the Department of Legal Affairs at the Presidency of the Northern Technical University, and in the presence of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College.
The course covered:
All rights and privileges enjoyed by a university service employee, as well as a review of the duties that a university service employee should perform
And according to the provisions of the University Service Law No. 23 of 2008, as amended, and the instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as a statement of the legal controls related to the issue of retiring a university service employee. The lecture was given by:
1. Dr.. Ammar Ali Muhammad/ Head of the Contracts and Guarantees Division/ Legal Affairs Department.
2. Mr. Hayes Muhammad Mahmoud / Head of the Division of Rights and Claims / Department of Legal Affairs.
3. Mr. Fawzi Salem Hassan / Head of the Legal Division / College of Agricultural Technology.
The session came out with several recommendations:
The university service employee must perform the duties assigned to him in accordance with what is decided by the relevant laws, regulations and instructions.
Paying attention to the issue of publishing scientific research, especially in international journals, as one of the duties of the university service employee.
Protecting the rights enjoyed by the university service employee, according to the provisions of the applicable university service law and other relevant laws.
