The Agricultural Technical College has organized a campaign to collect agricultural waste and convert it into valuable materials for soil and the environment…

Under the direction of the President of the Northern Technical University and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Shahab Ahmed Yousif, the Media, and Public Relations Department, in cooperation with the Technological Incubator Unit at the Northern Technical University and the Mithabron Foundation for Environmental and Developmental Goodness, organized a campaign to collect agricultural waste from the college gardens, ferment it, and convert it into useful materials for the soil, such as “peat moss”.
This is achieved by utilizing grass clippings, tree leaves, and other agricultural waste, and converting it into peat moss, which is much better for maintaining a sustainable environment than burning it, as burning can be a source of environmental pollution. Peat moss is beneficial for soil and gardening and is widely used as a mixture with soil or as a medium for water-based cultivation.
