The President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, announces the opening of the first IELTS testing center for the English language, after she signed a joint cooperation agreement with the company (Netcom Systems), approved by the Ministry of Education. It was signed on behalf of our university by Mrs. President of the University, Professor Dr. Alia. Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and Dr. Al-Hassan Ibraheem Al-Sayied, Regional Director in Iraq, on behalf of Netcom Systems. The company is licensed by the Australian IDP, making the Northern Technical University the first center to conduct the English language test, IELTS K.
This step comes within the goals of our university to improve the level of higher education in the country, as well as in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in developing the education sector in Iraq. The Regional Director in Iraq made a tour accompanied by the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Farhan Sheet, to see the testing center for the test. The English language is IELTS at our university and he expressed his admiration for providing all the supplies and that the university is ready to conduct the test.
